The
Mineral Springs takes its name from a natural
spring running through the land, a focal point for
well over a century.
The Mineral Springs property includes
over 760 acres located along the Saco River. The
land has been owned and managed by the Kennett
Company for generations.
The
terrain of the property yields great views of Mt.
Washington, thousands of acres of forest, and the
beautiful Saco River.
In
2004, the town of Conway voted to build a new high
school on the Mineral Spring land and together with
the Kennett Company, constructed a mile long road
through the interior to gain access to the 60 acres
of land on which the new facility is
located.
Although isolated
for most of its history, infrastructure
improvements have provided exposure, access, and
great interest in the property.
In
2001 the State of NH constructed a new road to help
ease the traffic flow to and from the villages of
Conway and North Conway. The North South road's
southern terminus is located at the base of the
Mineral Spring property.
